Haze’s IM blog

15 minutes, 6 keywords, all under 10,000 competing pages. All in my pj’s.  :)  Not too many people can say that, huh?  IM’s alot like riding a bike.  I thought I forgot how to do this, but once I got back to business, it’s coming back easily.

Now to make a blogger page and few others, then write articles….

This time i wont make the same mistake i did last time.  Last time, I didnt make any blogs for my keywords.  This SHOULD help with getting an actual PAGE on 1st page of google, instead of only an article.  Time will tell…

Truth be told, I haven’t done anything in these past few months.  I had kind of a breakdown.  Now, I just can’t seem to be able to find that first step again.  NEVER, EVER, EVER stop in IM.  This is what happens:

A sale about once a week for a while, then nothing.  I am going to sit down and watch the 4DMMB again.  Dave’s voice has a way of making me feel like I can do this.  I’m going to reread this blog, too.  Any comments would be most appreciated, we all can help each other.  I just took a little break, is all.

And please do yourself a favor.  If you’re new to IM, you may not understand this, but you will.  Find someone IN IM that you make friends with, and dub them your IM buddy.  Partners in crime.  Become inseparable with them.

When either one of you are lost, the other will help you find your way back.  And one of you may know things the other one doesn’t.  The one thing (well, the most important) thing about IM is that you just can’t do it alone.  I’m about as stubborn as they come, but I finally gave in to that fact.

When no one around you understands why in the world you’re screaming at your computer, your IM buddy always will.

I want to say thank you to my IM buddy, and my non-IM buddy, for pulling me thru this time.  Neither one of you may ever know how much you mean to me, but your true friendship means more to me than even I can put into words!

OK, enough of that - today I will look for keywords.  More than 5 searches a day, and less than 10,000 competing pages in “”.  Wish me luck!

last week, I made a bad choice - I didn’t write my own articles (not even 1) while I worked on a set of articles for a client.  While I would never give up writing articles for him, I WILL make sure I do my own articles, as well.  This is what happened when I stopped writing for myself, even for only a few days:

Ugh….. can you tell when I stopped writing????  Ladies and Gentlemen - the proof is in the pudding, so to speak!  You CAN make money with this, but you HAVE to do it EVERY DAY!  Simple as that.

Just a little setback, but I already submitted 2 articles this morning, and will go now and do some more.  no matter where you are in IM, you have to do SOMETHING every single day!

It was brought to my attention that I forgot to put these on.  That money wasn’t made with 40 articles, it was over 100 articles.  A few articles a day, consistently.  That’s how it’s done.  Stick it out, guys (and gals), this does work - no matter what your family and friends say - I’m no millionaire and I’m no whiz.  BUT… I AM proof that this works!  Scroll down through this blog and see where I started.

I really don’t like how blogs work, they’re backwards.  But I don’t know how to change that.  Sorry about that!  Get going and start writing!  One article a day is better than nothing!

My 4 Day Money Making Blueprint venture is WAY more than I thought it would ever be!

I apologize for not updating regularly.  The only time I remember to is when I get asked a question.  I think I should write it down and put a sticky note on my computer screen……

ANYWAY…..  just by implementing a few things with this program, I currently have 5 CONSECUTIVE CB checks!  My family and friends can’t believe it, and my husband is SO not laughing at me anymore!  :)  :) 

Unlike alot of you, I am not trying to support a family with this.  I am just trying to get some extra spending money.  So I only work an average of an hour or two a day.  I have been doing this since the middle or end of June, and my website stats are on the previous post, but here is my CB paycheck page and my Ezine article stats:

Although this may not be much to you, it is the first time since 2006 that I have made weekly checks:

These stats are from working VERY part time!  An hour or two a day!  Which leads me to an average of a sale a week.  Today (Sunday, 7/26/09) I am going to start putting out 10 articles a day.  My ultimate goal is 30 articles a day.  *****UPDATE - 7/27 - ANOTHER SALE THIS WEEK!  SO FAR, I’ve made over $62 this week, and haven’t spent a dime!!!!!!!!!

I personally submit my own, original articles to ezine.  I FINALLY got approved as a Platinum Author last week!  I also found an EXCELLENT article spinner and submitter package, too.

I never believed in article spinners.  I’ve tried most of them, and they suck.  This one, however, is awesome.  It changes whatever word you choose with REAL words that make sense!  PLUS, you can add your OWN words to it!  Check it out for yourself here:  Mass Article Control

The set is $77.  At first, I was sceptical.  But I thought, if it sucks like the rest did, I’ll just get a refund.  I was so amazed!  You not only get the article spinner, but you get a submitter that is lightning fast!  I paid extra for 20 directories, they are supposed to make that more in the future.  At first you get 10 directories.

I would HIGHLY suggest that you do NOT use this with Ezine articles.  The option is there to do so, I don’t know how many people do it, but I have had horrible luck with my articles getting accepted in the past, and now that I’ve reached Platinum status, I SURE don’t want to lose my account!

Now I’m off to set a record-breaking week (well, for me anyway!)

Just have a goal, make a plan, and stick to it.  There were a few days I didn’t do anything, and my website stats prove it.  You HAVE to do this everyday!  Soon, it does become part of your daily routine, I swear.  But just keep going.

I know, I forgot about this blog.  I am so sorry, I’ve been so busy and so excited!

For the VERY FIRST TIME in over 4 years, I will make my FOURTH CONSECUTIVE CB PAYCHECK!!!!!!!!!!!

All of this because I didn’t know a few things….  it’s amazing what one missing link can do!  I am still working only a few hours a day, and here are my website stats for the past week or so…

I separated the bottom for a reason….  IT’S AWESOME!!!!!!

Notice the days I highlighted?  These are the days when I submitted only 3-5 articles a day to ezine articles.  With the techniques in the 4-day article mmarketing blueprint, I changed my stats THAT MUCH!  And there really is no more work than I did before, the only difference is……  now I know what I’m supposed to do!

So, come on!  Find out for yourself the feeling you get when you wake up in the morning to see ACTUAL NUMBERS on your Clickbank account page!  This is soooooo cool!

I’ve learned some VERY valuable lessons this week - the day your article gets accepted on ezine IS the day to see sales.  I still see visits and sales from older articles, but just a trickle.  My article was accepted last night, and I had a sale today!

I just submitted my last two, now I had to ‘plead to the jury’, as I call it, to get approval for Basic Plus or Premium status.  I think I blew my chance for Premium on this account, though - I accidentally put an affiliate link in my first two submissions……….DUH!

Also, today, I started day one over.  I got more keywords.  I am now working with two different niches, each one being drawn out more and more, to see exactly what I can do with them.   My first articles were hits, the last two were not so good.  But they ALL brought traffic!  :)  Now I know which keywords will bring more results, so off to write more!

Since I know this is a lucrative niche (I’ve made sales with this already), I’m going full force with this one.  I bought a domain name, and used the hosting I already have for my other sites.  I worked from 7 am this morning until now, (almost 6:30 pm).  I have the entire site done, except for articles on the different pages.

I have about 8 different programs I am affiliating, all related to one more general niche.

I also added an autoresponder.

I am still waiting for ezine to approve my articles.

I don’t mind the ‘Squidoo Slap’, I never liked Squidoo anyway.  (I found it entirely too confusing :(  ).

I am going to eat and enjoy my evening, tomorrow I will add the content to my site.

Guess I’m dragging the 4 day blueprint out a bit, but I really don’t want to write massive amounts of articles for a site that may or may not be there in the morning. 

I confess, I didn’t do anything today.  I am finishing up my other 3 articles on paper.  I will add them to ezine tomorrow morning.  I do apologize - holiday weekends are more work for me than anything!  ;(  Tomorrow I will be running to my parents’ house and my hubby’s……..  Plus dinner and celebration here………

OH….  I DID write and publish the PDF worksheet I spoke of earlier………  (I did do some work today!)
